Disappointed. I missed the mark …didnt get the photos printed out in time…darn! Still, i would like to thank all for understanding, and especially the help from him. [oh, and thks to the one who 've helped me switch off the lights in the class while presenting, thats nice of you. =) ]
Well, im went walking around and snapped these :
First chosen piece: Unnoticed
I find this flower appealing. It’s found along the way, which i cant recall where. Its not striking in color, nor is there much contrast with its surrounding. But in close up, its actually pretty cute and has many little budding flowers and fruits in a bunch. It may appear dull to eye, so i tried to focus it to contrast with the backdrop, to bring out the details in the flower. As im unfamiliar with the film slr, i tried using my manual digi cam, before taking this with slr. hee luckily it turns out pretty well. Maybe it could been more in focus..and less exposed, i think

Second chosen piece: Beyond
A reflection of an adjacent building, which i do quite like it as it seems mystical. It is as if there is building beyond the glass and note this is actually 2 buildings in it, one is peeking out. But the glass panels is pretty dirty and too bluish..so i guess it did not seem sharp, but rather eek.haha. oh, and the trees is left there to frame it..else it may look weird like the pic[ bottom second]. Glad one of my peers like the idea. Nevertheless, i think it could be better if i could snap it when the sun is shining on the glass panels. The other pics are reflections too, if tilted upside down, i would seem different and nice. but i think there is too many details that distort the reflection..=(

Self-Assessment
Well, for this task, i would give myself 55 for effort and 30 for creativity. I might have been too picky and thinking too much while shooting. thus i could not finish taking my films, and landed myself in a silly mistake. Well shooting is fun, but having an eye for things is tricky. Not many which i took turn out the way i like. More improvement to go!
Peers Review
Peer review isnt much as i couldnt show the class the exact prints. So peers, pls review if u chance upon my blog. Once again, thanks. =)
Review for Peers work
–I love Mike’s pic of the sky. I would give him 95/100. There is great presence and depth. It lures one into the picture as the sun glow seems to be emitting from within. It is also interesting that the light emitted from the buildings adds sparkles and life to the whole picture.

More variations..
Well i went round and took more pictures for practice. =) these are the selected ones which i took with a film slr. [ps: there aint any shutter/aperture readings throughout, as i didnt know ive to manually take note using film slr till after ive took them...sorry. i will note.]
